Forerunner: 1890 Correspondence card

Forerunner: 1890 Correspondence card out of the Penny Postage Jubilee envelope, used separately as a postcard within Newry without stamps but also without attracting penalty (Postage Due!), sent only six days after issue. The message on the reverse has been rendered illegible with blue crayon.
An extremely rare use in Ireland, and against all regulations. Ex Col. B. B. Zellers.
