Products description

Great Northern Railway 1907 2d greyish green with indeciferable purple crayon cancellation used on an apparently commercial cover to Dublin with Edward VII 1d red, put into the post there and well tied by a Dublin machine cancel of March 1st, 1911. Accompanied by a photo of the Belfast to Dublin Express.
DeLacy-Spencer #10, Hib. R95.
Despite small faults, this cover is a fine example of non-philatelic use of a railway stamp, opened on three sides for display.
